Wayward Wind

The "Wayward Wind" is a unique Keyblade wielded by Ventus in "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep". Distinct for its design that allows it to be easily used in reverse, its handle is offset and not aligned with the guard or the blade. Dark grey in color, with wing-like teeth and adorned with three gold lines, this Keyblade is a representation of the Realm of Light. Its Keychain token is a green gem encircled by two silver feathers. The design and name of the "Wayward Wind" draw inspiration from Ventus's name, which translates to "wind" in Latin, and possibly his departure from the Land of Departure.

Keyblade of Heart

The "Keyblade of Heart" is a synthetic weapon created by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, using the hearts of the Princesses of Heart, except for Kairi's. Unique in its ability to unlock a person's heart and release the Darkness inside, it's occasionally referred to as the Keyblade of Darkness, although its official name is the "Keyblade of Heart". It's distinct from the typical "Keyblades of Worlds' Hearts" and came into existence after the Keyblade War. Notably, this Keyblade has a dark design, and since it's missing Kairi's heart, its power is not fully realized.

Olympia

The "Olympia" is a Keyblade used by Sora, appearing in several Kingdom Hearts titles. In "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories", it stands as the signature Attack Card for the Olympus Coliseum. Its design throughout the series varies, especially in the Kingdom Hearts χ games. The base design resembles Greek architecture, seemingly carved from marble, with elements such as grey columns, the word "Hercules", and the image of arms flexing their muscles. As it progresses in upgrades, the Keyblade showcases variations ranging from golden handles, silver blades, images of Zeus, to a swirling blue aura. Its name relates to the ancient Greek city Olympia, where the first Olympic Games took place. The upgraded names in "Kingdom Hearts Re:coded" stem from Greek alphabet letters like Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.

Dual Disc

The "Dual Disc" is a Keyblade used by both Sora and Riku, featured in "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance". It enhances Strength and increases the likelihood of landing critical hits. Design-wise, the Dual Disc consists of two large discs: the upper disc, forming the teeth, is inspired by an Identity Disk, while the grip mirrors the baton used to form a Light Cycle. Boasting a color palette echoing The Grid's aesthetics, it's a black keyblade adorned with neon blue highlights. Its Keychain is a "Tron: Legacy"-styled Identity Disk connected by a neon-like chain.

Ultima Weapon (KH III)

The "Ultima Weapon" is a potent Keyblade featured in multiple "Kingdom Hearts" titles, symbolizing the apex of power. In "Kingdom Hearts," it mirrors the Dream Sword with a gold design, having a golden crown charm as its teeth and a gilded heart as its Keychain. In its "Kingdom Hearts II" incarnation, it embraces a blue, white, and gold palette while increasing the crown motifs. "Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep" gives it a pale blue hue with stars and the Wayfinder design, while "Dream Drop Distance" combines this with the design from "Kingdom Hearts II". "Kingdom Hearts III" introduces a segmented blade, reflecting the Roman numeral for three. Its inspiration is drawn from the "Final Fantasy" series, where the Ultima Weapon is typically the protagonist's mightiest sword.

Treasure Trove

The "Treasure Trove", known as "Rock Splendor" in Japanese, is a Keyblade featured in "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep," and can be wielded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and the Player in "Kingdom Hearts χ." Its design reflects the crystal mines of Dwarf Woodlands. The handle looks wooden, with a circular guard showcasing seven crystals. The blade resembles a mine track, adorned by a crystal-filled minecart and a pickaxe serving as the Keyblade's teeth. The beige Keychain attaches to a red jewel. The name "Treasure Trove" denotes discovering hidden treasure, paralleling the gems mined by the Seven Dwarfs. Similarly, its Japanese name captures the brilliance of gemstones.

Crabclaw

The "Crabclaw" is a Keyblade for Sora, introduced in "Kingdom Hearts" and reappears in "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories". It notably enhances magic, increases the maximum MP by 1, and offers respectable physical damage capabilities. The design of the Crabclaw is a vivid homage to the sea; its handle mimics green seaweed and the blade gives off the appearance of a blue jet of water. The teeth, its standout feature, are shaped like a vibrant orange crab, poised with claws extended. Further adding to its oceanic theme, the Keychain is a delicate light blue seashell.

Master's Defender

The "Master's Defender" is a Keyblade originally wielded by Master Eraqus and later by Master Aqua. It stands out with high strength and magic stats. Its design features a grey tapered shaft, square grip, and "E"-shaped teeth - a nod to "Eraqus" being an anagram of "Square". Its Keychain showcases the Mark of Mastery symbol. Known from "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep", Aqua adopts this Keyblade post Eraqus's demise, using it in her ventures, especially within the Realm of Darkness. The name emphasizes its bond with Keyblade Masters and its protective essence.

Pumpkinhead

The "Pumpkinhead" is a distinctive Keyblade for Sora, known from "Kingdom Hearts" and its sequel "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories". It's celebrated for its extended reach and aptitude for landing critical strikes. Awarded to Sora by Jack Skellington after sealing the Keyhole in Halloween Town, the design is predominantly black, featuring a likeness of Jack Skellington's head at the hilt, a guard resembling Jack's bowtie, and teeth that evoke the image of a hanging bat. The Keychain is aptly a jack o' lantern. Its name, "Pumpkinhead", nods to Jack's revered title, the "Pumpkin King".

Oathkeeper and Oblivion

The "Oathkeeper & Oblivion" are dual Keyblades wielded primarily by Roxas in "Kingdom Hearts II" and "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days". The Oathkeeper is luminescent with light, representing Sora's memories of Kairi, while the Oblivion is as dark as night, symbolizing Sora's memories of Riku. Roxas, as the Nobody of Sora and carrying Ventus's heart, gains the unique ability to dual-wield these Keyblades, particularly after the departure of Xion. These Keyblades play an important role during Roxas's confrontation against Riku and later against Axel. Their designs are both elegant and contrasting, embodying the themes of light and darkness inherent to the series. The duo of Keyblades holds deep symbolic significance, connecting the intertwined fates of Sora, Roxas, Kairi, and Riku.

Fenrir

The "Fenrir" Keyblade, prominent in "Kingdom Hearts II" and "Kingdom Hearts Union χ", is distinguished for its range and power but reduces combo counts. Gifted to Sora by Tifa after defeating Sephiroth in Radiant Garden, its design is inspired by a pin tumbler lock key and is heavily influenced by Cloud's "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" motorcycle and weaponry. Unlike most Keyblades, Fenrir's unique Negative Combo ability makes it invaluable for certain combat strategies and mini-games in "Kingdom Hearts II".

Divine Rose

The "Divine Rose" Keyblade is known for its strength and critical blow capabilities. Sora and Lauriam can wield it, with the latter using it as his primary weapon. Its design evolves with upgrades, starting with a basic stained-glass handguard and violet blade wrapped in a rose vine. As it's enhanced, the design becomes more ornate, culminating in a vibrant red aura by its fifth stage. The name draws inspiration from the phrase "La Vie en Rose", but in the game, it alludes to the Beast's life being intertwined with a single rose.

Kingdom Key D

The "Kingdom Key D" is King Mickey's Keyblade in the "Kingdom Hearts" series, acting as a dark counterpart to Sora's Keyblade. Its design is a mirror of Sora's, with contrasting colors. Mickey uses it in various games, notably in "Kingdom Hearts" to seal the Door to Darkness and in "Kingdom Hearts III" to navigate between realms. Gameplay-wise, it's Mickey's primary weapon in "Kingdom Hearts II" and "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days", featuring distinct attack patterns.

Lady Luck

The "Lady Luck" Keyblade is celebrated for boosting MP and enhancing magic and summon power, while also delivering solid physical damage. Available to both Sora and Player, this Keyblade has deep connections to the Wonderland. Its design is primarily inspired by playing cards, with symbols such as hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds. As it undergoes upgrades, the Keyblade's appearance evolves, with each stage introducing more intricate designs and color palettes. By the fifth upgrade, the Keyblade is enveloped in a mystical violet aura. The moniker "Lady Luck" is rooted in Greco-Roman mythology, invoking the goddesses of fortune, Tyche and Fortuna. However, in pop culture, it also connects to the "Trump Card" concept, denoting a game-changing move or backup plan.
